Deezer<\/a> has been one of the most proactive streaming platforms when it comes to AI transparency. After becoming the first streaming service to detect and label AI-generated music<\/a>, the company has now unveiled<\/a> a new tool designed to bring more transparency to listeners themselves.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its latest launch allows listeners to scan their playlists using its AI music detector to identify whether they contain fully AI-generated tracks. The tool is available across major streaming platforms, helping listeners everywhere see whether AI music exists within their playlists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does Deezer\u2019s AI detector tool for playlists work?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

According to Deezer, the free online tool allows users to connect their streaming account and scan playlists for AI-generated music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Available in 27 languages and compatible with 20 major streaming platforms, the detector uses Deezer’s existing AI detection technology to analyse playlists and identify fully synthetic tracks. Users simply select their streaming service, connect their account, allow the scan to run, and receive an AI score showing how much AI-generated music appears in their library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking about the launch, Deezer CEO Alexis Lanternier said the company wanted to make it possible for everyone to check their playlists, regardless of which streaming service they use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We decided to make it possible for everyone to check if their playlists include synthetic music, no matter which streaming platform they use… A vast majority of people want to know if AI music is being recommended to them and our data show that nearly half of the users joining Deezer from another platform have AI tracks in their playlists. The bigger picture<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The launch builds on Deezer’s broader push for transparency around AI content. The company became the first streaming platform to label AI-generated music, and continues to heavily invest in detection technology as the volume of AI-created music continues to rise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The figures recently shared by Deezer<\/a> highlight the scale of that growth. Deezer says it currently receives nearly 75,000 AI-generated tracks every day, representing more than 44% of all daily uploads to the platform. In total, the company detected and tagged more than 13.4 million AI-generated tracks in 2025 alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
