After teasing the feature<\/a> late last year, Spotify<\/a> has officially<\/a> begun rolling out SongDNA in beta. The new experience available to Premium listeners, is designed to shine a spotlight on the people, influences, and connections behind the music we listen to every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is Spotify\u2019s SongDNA?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

SongDNA is an interactive feature built directly into the Now Playing screen. With a simple scroll, listeners can dive straight into SongDNA and uncover more about every song. Users can explore everything from the collaborators behind a track, the samples and interpolations that shaped it, as well as any covers it may have inspired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The data seen in SongDNA comes from artists, their teams, and community-sourced data. If you’re an eligible artist, head to Spotify for Artists<\/a> to manage the SongDNA for your music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Explore connections too<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

SongDNA can also be used to visualize relationships across music. It doesn\u2019t just tell you who worked on a song, it shows how artists are connected to each other through the people they\u2019ve worked with. It\u2019s a cool way to see how artists are connected across different genres, eras, and scenes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
