Spotify is officially bringing Prompted Playlists to more markets<\/a>. After first testing Prompted Playlists with Premium users in New Zealand, the streaming platform is now rolling out the feature in beta to Premium listeners in the US and Canada. The feature, which lets users describe the playlist they want Spotify to generate, begins hitting the US and Canada today and should arrive fully by the end of the month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tool was first introduced late last year as a limited test, giving select users the ability to create playlists by describing what they want to hear in their own words. Instead of adding songs one by one or relying on Spotify\u2019s curated playlists, users can simply type out a prompt and Spotify builds a playlist. It uses your listening history, real-time charts and cultural context alongside the prompt to cook up something you\u2019d like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
