It\u2019s very similar to Instagram\u2019s Broadcast Channels<\/a> that launched in 2023<\/a>, but this time for TikTok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are TikTok\u2019s bulletin boards?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Bulletin boards are a place where creators can share regular updates, news, and exclusive content with their most engaged fans. The one-to-many messaging approach is just like Instagram\u2019s Broadcast Channels, meaning that only the creator can post, while followers can react using emojis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a new way to build communities and keep people updated with your world outside of only posting new TikTok videos. Importantly, TikTok has all of its usual safety features in place to keep things smooth:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For artists specifically, bulletin boards are a big deal as they offer a new way to communicate directly with your most dedicated fans. They could come in especially useful for sharing music-related news. Think, you could easily spread the word about a new single or album, release exclusive merch, promote upcoming gigs, or push a pre-save link. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
