Rosal\u00eda\u2019s \u2018LUX\u2019 makes history to become the most streamed album in a single day by a Spanish-speaking female artist.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A record-breaking debut<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Rosal\u00eda\u2019s latest album, LUX<\/a><\/em>, has officially set a new Spotify<\/a> record. Released on November 7, the project racked up more than 42.1 million streams within 24 hours, making it the most-streamed album in a single day by a Spanish-speaking female artist<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The album surpassed the former record in the process, held by Karol G\u2019s 2023 album Ma\u00f1ana Ser\u00e1 Bonito <\/em>which debuted with 35.7 million streams on its first day. Impressively, it also more than doubles Rosal\u00eda\u2019s previous best, achieved by her 2022 release Motomami<\/em>, which earned 16 million first-day streams. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Digital Music News<\/a>, the album also dominated Spotify\u2019s charts on release day. It held five songs in the Global Top 20, 11 in the Top 50, and 14 in the Top 100 on release day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
