Meta AI has added Hindi and Portugese to Reels translations, with more languages on the way.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Meta has announced<\/a> the expansion of its Reels translation tools so creators can share their videos with even larger international audiences. The company has added Hindi and Portuguese to its Meta AI translation features, joining English and Spanish. That means creators who already create and share short-form video can now make their reels even more discoverable and watchable in more countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new feature builds on Meta\u2019s goal of making content more accessible across languages and cultures. As the company explained, \u201cImagine discovering a reel that makes you laugh, inspires you, or teaches you something new, no matter where it was created or what language it was filmed in. That\u2019s the future we\u2019re building at Meta.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meta AI works by mimicking the sound and even tone of a creator\u2019s voice, producing a translated version that still sounds like them. Creators can also enable the lip sync feature, which automatically aligns the translated audio with their mouth movements, keeping the video natural and engaging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
