Warner Music and Netflix are reportedly close to teaming up to produce music-driven content. According to a new Bloomberg report<\/a>, the two entertainment giants are finalizing a deal to create documentaries and films inspired by Warner Music\u2019s legendary catalog of artists.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After shutting down its in-house film and TV division earlier this year as part of cost-saving measures, Warner Music is now looking to outsource its production with Netflix as its creative partner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The appetite for music documentaries, biopics, and concert films is stronger than ever. Taylor Swift\u2019s \u2018Eras Tour\u2019 film<\/a> earned over $260 million at the box office, while popular biopics like \u2018Bohemian Rhapsody\u2019 and \u2018Rocketman\u2019 have proved there\u2019s serious money in retelling music history.
