Splice has launched Splice INSTRUMENT, designed to “help creators shape their sound with world-class recordings.”<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The popular sample library platform, Splice has just launched a brand-new flagship product called Splice INSTRUMENT<\/a>, developed in partnership with Spitfire Audio. The product provides creators with access to professional quality recordings and fully playable MIDI instrumentation, offering an evolving music making experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Splice INSTRUMENT is a sample-based virtual instrument which can be downloaded as a plugin (VST, AU) to be used directly in creators’ DAWs. From the off, Splice INSTRUMENT will offer users 1,200 playable presets, with more being added in the months going forward. Some impressive highlights include legendary composer Philip Glass’ baby grand piano recorded in his own home in Manhattan, and drums by Abe Laboriel Jr. (best known for his work with Paul McCartney) captured at the iconic Henson Studios in LA. Plus, creators can get their hands on strings, woodwinds and drums from the world renowned BBC Symphony Orchestra at Maida Vale Studios in London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Built with Spitfire Audio<\/a>\u2019s renowned technical and audio expertise, Splice INSTRUMENT is designed to be more than just a sound library. It brings together professional recordings, a simple and accessible interface, multi-sampled presets, and full MIDI playability. What sets it apart is its evolving nature: new free and premium presets from Splice Sounds<\/a>, Spitfire Audio, and a host of celebrated musicians will be added regularly, alongside fresh features and updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
