Monade Sounds just launched their 909 emulator as a free plugin with a brilliant, expanded version available for cheap.<\/h4>\n

Pure909 is a fantastic new plugin from the talented people at Monade Sounds. It emulates the famous Roland TR-909 drum machine through a combination of analog and sample-based sounds.<\/p>\n

Here’s what Monade Sounds say:<\/p>\n

Pure909 is a sample-based emulation of the legendary Roland TR-909. The 909 is an analog & partially sample based drum machine released in 1984 that was used by artists from different genres such as Aphex Twin, Boys Noize, Kanye West, Radiohead, Skinny Puppy, Underworld, LCD Soundsystem, Gorillaz, Plastikman, The Prodigy, Jeff Mills, Moby, Daft Punk and many more!<\/p>\n

At its core, Pure909 use a pristine set of TR-909 samples recorded at 24 bit, 44.1 khz (DVD audio quality). The samples have been compressed to FLAC and embedded in a VST\/AU instrument plugin. We resampled the 909 through vintage samplers, computers and machines. Among them the Akai MPC60, an old PC computer, the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) & Sega Master System soundchips, various tube amplifiers and more!<\/p>\n
