Plus, the earbuds launch in an all-new &#8216;Moonstone&#8217; color.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Last week, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=JXCXTQIIvM0&amp;t=1772\">Google took to the stage<\/a> to announce new Pixel devices, including phones, watches and earbuds. <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/google-pixel-buds-2a\/\">Alongside the launch of the new budget-friendly Pixel Buds 2a earbuds,<\/a> Google also announced a software update that would bring a bunch of new features to their flagship earbuds next month. <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/google-pixel-buds-pro-2\/\">Google launched the Pixel Buds Pro 2 in August last year,<\/a> so it&#8217;s great to see them still getting some love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 With Gemini | Better Than Ever\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8aJpecIJ4a4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The first update coming to Pixel Buds Pro 2 brings head gestures. Using the advanced accelerometer and dedicated sensor, simply shake your head to decline a call, or nod your head to accept a call or reply to texts. We&#8217;ve seen this feature launch in recent AirPods models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Google are also launching the ability to talk to Gemini Live in noisy places. Gemini Live enables back-and-forth conversation with Google&#8217;s generative AI assistant. When paired with an Android device with Gemini installed, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 uses advanced audio processing to prioritize your voice and eliminate background noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pixel Buds Pro 2 also introduces Loud Noise Protection. The earbuds will attempt to dampen sudden loud noise, such as a passing siren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, Adaptive Audio is coming to the Pixel Buds Pro 2. Another feature we&#8217;ve seen on many competitors in recent years, Adaptive Audio is a mixture of active noise cancellation and transparency modes, blocking out unwanted noise, while letting important sound come through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video autoplay loop muted src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/mannequin\/blobs\/200891ec-d377-4510-b24b-52a6f3e7b65a.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption><em>Video Credit: <a href=\"https:\/\/store.google.com\/product\/pixel_buds_pro_2\">Google<\/a><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 are launching this software update next month (September).
