It allows users to pick and share up to five lines of lyrics from a track. Subsequently, creating a visual graphic that includes the song title, artist, album artwork, and YouTube Music branding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"reddit-embed-bq\" style=\"height:500px\" data-embed-height=\"740\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/YoutubeMusic\/comments\/1le1p6q\/am_i_the_only_one_with_this\/\">Am I the only one with this?<\/a><br \/> by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/user\/reyrey241\/\">u\/reyrey241<\/a> in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/YoutubeMusic\/\">YoutubeMusic<\/a><\/blockquote><script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/embed.reddit.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<h3>How does it work?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sharing lyrics on YouTube Music is simple and offers almost no difference to what was tested in April:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Play a track and head to the \u201cLyrics\u201d tab on the Now Playing screen.<\/li><li>Tap the new \u201cShare\u201d button (found at the bottom of the screen).<\/li><li>Choose your lyrics within this \u201cSelect Lyrics\u201d screen (up to 5 lines).<\/li><li>Press \u201cNext\u201d and pick a background colour &#8211; there are ten to choose from, with the first matching the background of the Now Playing screen.<\/li><li>\u201cSave image\u201d to your device or immediately \u201cShare with other apps\u201d.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The visual format makes it easy to post to socials, send to friends, or save for later- akin to a similar function available on Spotify and Apple Music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>How to get it?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The feature is available on version 8.24 of the YouTube Music app for both free and Premium users. 9to5Google says that if it\u2019s not showing up, try force-stopping and reopening the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This update brings YouTube music one step closer to the social-friendly tools already offered by its competitors, and makes sharing lyrics easier than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/free-youtube-music-distribution-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Distribute your music to YouTube Music and other streaming platforms for free with RouteNote!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>YouTube Music rolls out a new tool which lets users share their favourite lyrics as stylish graphics.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":47,"featured_media":104939,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[1],"tags":[4161],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v18.4.1 -
