These include <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/boses-quietcomfort-ultra-earbuds-2\/\">the 2nd generation QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/bose-soundlink-plus\/\">SoundLink Plus<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SoundLink is Bose&#8217;s portable Bluetooth speaker range. With the introduction of their latest addition, there are now four speakers in the lineup. From smallest and cheapest to largest and most-expensive, there&#8217;s the $119 SoundLink Micro, $149 SoundLink Flex, $269 new SoundLink Plus, and the $399 SoundLink Max. Each step up also increases the audio capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The second generation Bose SoundLink Micro brings improved audio performance and clearer sound at higher frequencies from the speakers single driver and dual passive radiators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The general design is largely unchanged since the first generation model. The SoundLink Micro is just 4.06 x 4.06 x 1.54-inches, in a durable enclosure. There&#8217;s a powder-coated steel and silicone exterior, giving the speaker an IP67 rating. An all-new removable fabric nylon strap allows you to easily clip or loop the speaker to anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Bose_SoundLink_Micro_2nd_Gen_Blue_Dusk_03.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-104930 lazyload\" width=\"319\" height=\"306\"\/><figcaption><em>Image Credit: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bose.com\/pressroom\/new-bose-soundlink-plus-and-micro-speakers\">Bose<\/a><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of connectivity, the SoundLink Micro uses Bluetooth 5.4 to connect to devices, with support for multipoint connectivity, allowing you to connect the speaker to two devices simultaneously. The addition of Google Fast Pair gives the speaker one-touch pairing to Android devices. Any two current SoundLink speakers can be paired to one another for Party Mode, which plays music in sync. If the speakers are the same model, Stereo Mode allows you to use one speaker as the left channel and the other as the right. SBC and AAC codecs are supported, with the addition of Qualcomm&#8217;s aptX Adaptive for lossless audio on Snapdragon Sound-certified Android devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second generation model doubles the battery life over the previous model. The speaker now lasts for up to 12 hours of playback.
