Soundcore unveil their new earbuds. The relatively massive battery in the charging case can be used to boost your phone to around 50%.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Soundcore, the audio brand of Chinese electronic company Anker, has launched their latest pair of true wireless earbuds. At \u00a379.99 in the UK, the P41i sit at around the midway point in their earbuds lineup, as a less expensive option than the flagship Liberty 4 Pro<\/a> or Liberty 5<\/a>. However the P41i have a feature that no other Soundcore earbuds have – a huge battery within the charging case that can be used to charge your phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting with the earbuds themselves. The P41i are a stem-style design with in-ear tips. There are five tips included within the box, including extra-small, small, medium, large and extra-large.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The charging case houses a 3,000mAh capacity. Compared to the AirPods Pro 2’s 523mAh, the P41i hold over five-times the juice. While this leads to a large case, at 75.4mm x 59.4mm x 29.6mm, the case holds around 15 additional full charges for the earbuds. The earbuds last for around 12 hours with noise cancelling turned off and 10 hours with it turned on. The charging case holds a total playback time of 192 hours with ANC turned off and 160 hours with ANC on. When dead, pop the earbuds back in the case for just 10 minutes for five hours playback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you often find yourself needing a mid-day phone top up, the portable charging feature may be for you. The P41i has an integrated short USB-C cable that wraps around the case when not in use. The P41i are also available with a lightning adapter for older iPhones. With a full battery, the case will be able to charge an iPhone 16 Pro by around 50% or a Galaxy S24 by around 45%. When used as a phone charger, the case retains one full charge for the earbuds. The charging case has 10W of power, which can drive 30% in around 40 minutes. There’s a small screen on the exterior of the case that displays the battery percentage of the case and each earbud. Phone charging is not the P41i’s only hidden feature. With the lid open, the charging case can also be used as a horizontal phone stand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Internally, each earbud features an 11mm titanium coated composit driver. There’s an optional BassUp mode available in the app, which enhanced the low end. The app can also be used to enable ‘Game Mode’ or ‘Movie Mode’, which optimized the earbuds for these scenarios. There are six microphones and AI noise reduction for clear calls. The earbuds are IPX5 waterproof, which protects the earbuds from splashes, light rain, small spills and sweat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The P41i don’t sacrifice any of the usual features we’ve come to expect from earbuds. There’s active noise cancelling, which uses advanced algorithms to reduce outside noise from interrupting your music. Using the app, ANC can be personalized to your unique ear canals. There’s three modes available, which can be easily accessed and customized through the Soundcore app. ‘Adaptive ANC’ which lets you dial in the level of ANC, ‘Manual Mode’ and ‘Multi-Scene ANC’ where you can switch between ‘Transport’, ‘Outdoor’ and ‘Indoor’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The earbuds connect over Bluetooth 5.3. There’s Google Fast Pair for quick connection with Android devices and multipoint for connection to two devices, enabling fast switching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Soundcore P41i earbuds and matching case are available in black or white. The black digital screen integrates seems to integrate better on the black model. They are available to order now on the UK Soundcore site and Amazon.co.uk for \u00a379.99,<\/a> which is \u00a320 more than the P40i launch price. There’s a version which includes a lightning adapter for an extra \u00a310.<\/a> No word on when or if the P41i will launch in the US. They may be delayed due to the situation with tariffs. If they do land in the US, we can expect a price around $90.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
