TCL TVs are about to help more viewers upgrade their home viewing experience with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FlexConnect is Dolby&#8217;s technology that connects compatible wireless speakers to TVs, creating a spatial audio experience with Atmos. One of the exciting benefits of FlexConnect is that it doesn&#8217;t require perfectly placed speakers to produce a spatial effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This flexibility opens up spatial audio to many more homes who both don&#8217;t have a full surround sound setup and might not have the right space for a traditional, symmetrical setup. TCL are adding support for FlexConnect to their QD-Mini LED TVs in their 2025 Precise Dimming Series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Introducing Dolby Atmos FlexConnect\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dp0CffybBo4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>TCL are also launching their new Z100 smart speaker with FlexConnect functionality. This means that the Z100 can be connected up to TCL&#8217;s compatible TVs as part of a spatial audio setup with other wireless speakers. Up to four Z100 speakers can be used in a FlexConnect audio setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These TCL devices are reportedly the first devices to support FlexConnect to launch in the U.S.. So, for the timebeing U.S. customers will need to use TCL&#8217;s new TVs and speakers to make use of FlexConnect for a home spatial audio setup. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TCl say that the as-yet unreleased devices will be coming the U.S. &#8220;starting this summer&#8221;.
