Latin music\u2019s popularity continues to grow across the globe, as streaming platform Audiomack<\/a> reports a 19% year-over-year increase in Latin music streams worldwide<\/a>. Notably, a 22% increase in streams from Latin America users seem to be driving the surge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Mexico specifically, Audiomack users streamed 10% more music since 2024, signaling a stronger appetite for fresh music discoveries. The platform has also seen 4.5 million new accounts created across Latin America over the past two years, pointing to the region\u2019s growing interest in streaming and digital music consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Audiomack has expanded its footprint in Latin America, renewing and extending its licensing deal with Warner Music to strengthen its catalog in the region. This move has boosted the platform\u2019s offering in major markets like Mexico and the Dominican Republic. With more major label music now available in the region, further growth is anticipated for Audiomack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Audiomack\u2019s latin music growth aligns with a broader global trend: Latin music is thriving on a global scale. A recent RIAA report<\/a> showed that Latin music in the US achieved record-breaking revenues of $1.42 billion in 2024. This marked a 6% year-over-year increase, double the growth rate of the overall US music market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the IFPI\u2019s Global Music Report 2025<\/a> revealed Latin America experienced its 15th consecutive year of revenue growth, with a 22.5% increase. The IFPI attributed this growth to the increased adoption of streaming and rise in social media use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
