Global non-profit music industry organisation, IFPI has unveiled the best-selling albums of 2024, based on worldwide figures across formats.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry has announced their annual award for the Global Recording Artist of the Year 2024.<\/a> With this, the IFPI are breaking down the best-selling artists, albums and singles of 2024. This information is based on worldwide data of downloads, physical formats, and free and paid streaming, across the calendar year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Global Album Chart requires a minimum of five tracks to qualify as an album, excluding remixes or alternative versions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u200b\u200bTaylor Swift’s<\/strong> eleventh studio album THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT<\/em> was the best-selling album of 2024. This release also topped IFPI’s Global Album Chart, Global Vinyl Album Chart, Global Streaming Album Chart and Global Album Sales Chart.
