This initiative gives up-and-coming musicians the chance to make their festival debut at <em><a href=\"https:\/\/quilmesrock.enigmatickets.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Quilmes Rock<\/a><\/em>, one of the country\u2019s biggest and most iconic rock festivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.spotify.com\/2024-09-17\/mexico-music-contest-mi-primer-escenario-mexcla\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">successful rollout<\/a> in Mexico, where rising artist <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/7joyMZS5bboTR4PghWa3Um\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mia Salinas<\/a> performed at MEXCLA Spotify, <em>Mi Primer Escenario<\/em> is now offering independent Argentine musicians a unique opportunity to reach new audiences and take their careers to the next level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><strong>\u201cAs part of our mission to support local talent, we launched this contest to give participants the chance to showcase their music to the world and debut at one of the most iconic festivals in the country, hand in hand with their favourite audio platform.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><cite>Carolina Martin, Spotify\u2019s Artist &amp; Label Partnerships Lead, Southern Cone.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3>How does &#8216;Mi Primer Escenario&#8217; work?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The process unfolds in three phases, culminating in one artist earning a performance slot at Quilmes Rock. The festival is set to take place in Buenos Aires on April 5, 6, 12, and 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The winner will feature alongside legendary acts such as Los Piojos, Andr\u00e9s Calamaro, Miranda!, Babasonicos, and Los Aut\u00e9nticos Decadentes, and will also be featured on the cover of Spotify\u2019s <em><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/playlist\/37i9dQZF1DWX2Ln16qIxDF?si=66288f42faca45dc&amp;nd=1&amp;dlsi=79ff34bd7a634c4c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Top Verano 2025<\/a> <\/em>playlist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>How to participate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Phase 1 (February 4 to February 11)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Record a video performing an original rock, indie, or pop-rock song (30 seconds to 2 minutes).<\/li><li>Upload it to TikTok using the hashtag #SpotifyMiPrimerEscenario (ensure you own the full rights to the song).<\/li><li>The top 20 artists with the most comments will advance to the semifinals.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/quilmesrock.enigmatickets.com\/public\/qr%20abril%2025.svg\" alt=\"\" width=\"304\" height=\"227\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Phase 2 (February 19 to February 28)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Spotify\u2019s team will select 10 finalists, considering how well they fit the Quilmes Rock lineup.<\/li><li>These artists will be featured on a special Spotify playlist where listeners in Argentina can vote using a new in-app tool.<\/li><li>All finalists will also be added to a separate Spotify editorial playlist.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to vote<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Open the playlist and listen to your favourite artist\u2019s song.<\/li><li>A voting option will appear at the end of the playlist.<\/li><li>Free users can vote once per day, while Premium users get three votes per day.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Phase 3 (March 5 to Quilmes Rock)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The winner will be announced on March 5, and will be featured as the cover artist of Spotify\u2019s <em><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/playlist\/37i9dQZF1DWX2Ln16qIxDF?si=66288f42faca45dc&amp;nd=1&amp;dlsi=79ff34bd7a634c4c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Top Verano 2025<\/a><\/em> playlist for the following week.<\/li><li>The artist will then make their festival debut with a 30-minute set at Quilmes Rock in April.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3>Who can enter?
