Now, Bruno Mars has claimed that title and broken a record, all thanks to two hit duets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mars has a substantial catalogue of evergreen tracks &#8211; songs that get played over and over again all year round. This certainly has contributed to the streaming statistics success for the artist, but two relatively new duets have helped boost up the numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><em>Die With A Smile <\/em>was released in August 2024, and is a duet with Mars and Lady Gaga. The track recently surpassed a billion streams on Spotify.<\/li><li><em>APT. <\/em>is a duet with ROS\u00c9 (a member of Korean supergroup BLACKPINK), and since its release in October 2024 it has amassed nearly half a billion streams on Spotify.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"ROSE\u0301 &amp; Bruno Mars - APT. (Official Music Video)\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ekr2nIex040?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On October 29th Mars overtook The Weeknd as the Spotify artist with the most monthly listeners. Then, just a day later, Mars broke the record for most monthly listeners on Spotify. The Weeknd&#8217;s previous record of <strong>120.7<\/strong> <strong>million<\/strong> was smashed by Mars&#8217; <strong>126<\/strong> <strong>million<\/strong> monthly listeners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bruno Mars didn&#8217;t stop there with the record breaking. On November 12th, Mars made history and became the first artist to surpass <strong>130 million<\/strong> monthly listeners. Keeping the momentum going, by November 25th he had broken the record again, exceeding <strong>135 million <\/strong>monthly listeners. The most recent album the star worked on was 2021&#8217;s <em>An Evening With Silk Sonic<\/em> in collaboration with Anderson .Paak.<br \/><br \/>Bruno Mars&#8217; record-breaking success on Spotify raises the question: how much higher can his streaming numbers climb?
