{"id":101574,"date":"2024-10-17T16:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-10-17T15:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/?p=101574"},"modified":"2024-10-17T15:41:45","modified_gmt":"2024-10-17T14:41:45","slug":"instagram-launch-add-to-spotify","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/instagram-launch-add-to-spotify\/","title":{"rendered":"Instagram launch &#8220;Add to Spotify&#8221;, a fast way to save music from Reels"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 style=\"user-select: auto;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff; user-select: auto;\">A new feature launching globally today allows you to instantly save tracks from Instagram to your Spotify &#8220;Liked Songs&#8221; playlist.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Meta are partnering with Spotify to launch a nifty new feature on Instagram. <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/tiktok-announces-closure-of-tiktok-music\/\">Recently TikTok has been pushing<\/a> their <a href=\"https:\/\/routenote.com\/blog\/tiktok-to-your-music-library\/\">&#8220;Add to music app&#8221;<\/a> feature, which allows users to save a track they discover on TikTok to Spotify, Apple Music or Amazon Music. After tests last year, today Spotify launches a similar &#8220;Add to Spotify&#8221; feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3>How to save music from Instagram to Spotify<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The new integration is rolling out globally on iOS and Android today. We found the feature available on one out of three accounts tested. If you&#8217;re yet to see the &#8220;Add&#8221; button, try updating Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Simply tap a song to go to the song&#8217;s audio page<\/li><li>Tap Add<\/li><li>If this your first time using the feature, you&#8217;ll need to follow the on-screen steps to link your account<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And that&#8217;s it! The song will automatically be saved to your &#8220;Liked Songs&#8221; in &#8220;Your Library&#8221;, without needing to leave Instagram (after initial setup). Currently this is only available for Spotify.
