YouTube’s new sticker aims to get more people involved in the fun on YouTube Shorts, but are they just copying Instagram and TikTok?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

YouTube<\/a> have just launched a bunch of exciting new features. Among them, is last week’s addition of the ‘Add Yours’ sticker for Shorts<\/a>. The feature hopes to breed more participation in Shorts, which average over 70 billion cumulative daily views<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ‘Add Yours’ sticker encourages participatory content by prompting viewers to create their own takes on Shorts clips. It’s a familiar feature, as it’s essentially a replica of the same feature that can be seen in Instagram and TikTok, the Stich and Duet feature respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
