This feature would enable users to continually display what music they are listening to via Instagram Notes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>What is the feature?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Spotted by <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/alex193a\/status\/1828447691069632755?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet\">Alessandro Paluzzi<\/a>, a well-known developer and app researcher who frequently uncovers unreleased features in popular apps, the feature in question would allow Instagram users to share music more interactively. <br \/><br \/>Paluzzi discovered that the feature, rather than selecting a track from the catalogue, would let users continuously display their listening habits. It\u2019s all about enhancing the experience of connecting with others through music, allowing users to share what they\u2019re listening to in a more dynamic way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3>How could this feature work?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A little over a year ago, Instagram added the Notes feature to Stories. Here, users could share public messages, as well as attach 30-second clips of music from the Instagram catalogue. This song clips feature is available in all markets where Instagram has the music licensing rights, according to the company.<br \/><br \/>Rather than being limited to Instagram&#8217;s catalogue, and having to manually share song clips, this feature could streamline the music-sharing process. Postings of songs could potentially be automated via Spotify, meaning that Instagram appears to be bing used even when the user is engaging with another app. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3>Is this feature coming soon?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s important to note that just because a feature is in development doesn\u2019t guarantee it will be released soon \u2014 or at all. While the discovery by Alessandro Paluzzi has generated excitement, Meta and Instagram have not made any official announcements. Features can often undergo long testing phases and may even be scrapped if they don\u2019t meet certain criteria or if priorities shift within the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, while this feature is definitely something to look forward to, there\u2019s no clear timeline for its release.
