Apple is looking set to unveil its next-generation AirPods this fall with reports that the Silicon Valley giant will introduce two new versions of the AirPods line up.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

These AirPods are expected to replace the current second and third-generation models, which have been on the market since 2019 and 2021, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new AirPods models will be revealed alongside Apple’s anticipated fall hardware announcements including the iPhone 16. Apple’s new AirPods lineup will feature two distinct versions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two Versions: Standard and Noise-Cancelling<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Firstly, a lower-priced model offering basic functionality while serving as an upgrade from the current second-generation AirPods. The second-gen pods have proven more popular than the AirPods 3 due to their lower price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second model, meanwhile, could be an advanced model with active noise cancellation (ANC), replacing the pricier third-generation AirPods. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
