Why digital clipping occurs and how to avoid it
Budding musicians often find digital clipping to be the boogeyman in music production. Digital clipping is the result of recording with too high a gain level or boosting pre-existing audio too much. In other words, you will clip your signal if it exceeds the loudness ceiling in your recording equipment.
