In these trying times many musicians are at a loss, particularly if gigging was a primary source of income. If you’re in the U.S. Sweet Relief may be able to help.

With the ongoing Coronavirus situation this has been a troubling time for many. Those in the performing industry have been especially hard hit as events and gatherings around the world have been cancelled or postponed for the foreseeable future.

We’ve written a bit about how musicians in the UK can get help and information which you can check out here.

The Sweet Relief fund is helping musicians who have lost income due to the Coronavirus pandemic and are either aged 55 and above or have (or have recently had) a serious medical condition.

Their very important fund is helping musicians who are in a tougher position than others. You can request assistance from the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund here.

If you don’t meet the criteria above they have a great page of resources which can help you find the assistance that applies to your situation here.
