Soundtrack your games with SoundCloud now on Xbox One

With SoundCloud’s new app you can stream from millions of tracks whilst you play your games on Xbox One.

SoundCloud have just launched an app for Xbox One that puts the music in your hands whilst you play video games. Whether shooting up alien enemies, racing your friends, or trying to reach the princess, play with your own personal soundtrack thanks to SoundCloud’s seamless new app.

SoundCloud’s new app can be downloaded from the Xbox Store and allows you to browse from the millions of tracks uploaded by users as well as their library of licensed tracks. The SoundCloud app for Xbox One has been created so that you can leave the app and keep the music playing in the background, allowing you to choose the playlist as you play.

The app won’t be restricted either and will allow every user to search and play music from SoundCloud on Xbox, whether they’re a free user or on SoundCloud Go or SoundCloud Go+. You can listen to all of your favourite SoundCloud tracks, artists and playlists as well as their new, regularly updated collection of new music personalised to your tastes The Upload.

Cortana wasn’t forgotten about in the creation of their Xbox app and can be used to control your music. Simply tell your Xbox One to play or skip tracks using your voice and Cortana will alter your playback for you so you can stay in the game the whole time.

The SoundCloud Beta app for Windows 10 PCs and tablets will also be available beginning today. Users can visit the Windows Store to access the app and share their feedback here.
