Here at RouteNote we have a lot of changes and upgrades happening at the moment. This is a quick post to let everyone know about our recent changes with regards to content accepted into RouteNote for iTunes.

RouteNote will no longer be accepting the following content for submission to iTunes:

Remixes – All remix content will be asked to provide proof that they have the correct copyright licenses in place.
Ringtones
Karaoke

You will notice that our delivery times to iTunes have also improved drastically. Currently the lead times to go live on iTunes is within a week.

Here at RouteNote we have seen that streaming royalties are very quickly catching up to download royalties, thus getting on iTunes quickly can be very important when iTunes Radio launches.
