The full list of vinyl records being released exclusively and especially for Record Store Day has been revealed with hundreds of great records.

It’s almost a month until the shopping craze of the year – Black Friday. The notoriously high stake day of sales will take place on November the 24th this year and beyond the shameless desperation and violence involved in the “shopping holiday”, more than 150 records will be launched exclusively for Record Store Day.

Record Store Day, a day for celebrating independent record stores that are staying afloat the tumultuous seas of modern music sales in their ships crafted from a love of music. Every year for Record Store Day loads of artists from rising indie stars, classic legends, to chart-toppers get involved with exclusive records made to boost sales and interest in record stores.

In this years release announcement the Record Store Day team said: “We work year-round to shine a light on the independent businesses in your local community that sell you records and other things that make you happy, make you smile, make you sing, bring you comfort, bring people together. And all those things you find at a record store make great gifts so being part of that holiday shopping season, and the biggest shopping day of the year makes sense to us.”

The annual event is celebrated by musicians and artists all over. This years release will see over 150 records launched on Black Friday including two 7-inch records from Paul McCartney, a double-picture disc version of Humanz by Gorillaz, Greatest Hits from Janis Joplin, and many more.

Of all the records released for Record Store Day they will each come under one of 3 categories:

Exclusives: These titles are physically released only at indie record stores.
RSD First: These titles are found first at indie record stores, but may be released to other retailers or webstores at some point in the future.
Small Run/Regional List: These titles are either regionally based and sold at specific stores, or are press runs under 1000, which means they may be harder to find at record stores around the country.
