When you upload music to iTunes for free with RouteNote you can add a digital booklet offering lyrics, images and more that accompany your music. Here’s how to get yours online.

Uploading your music to iTunes allows listeners from all over the world to find you on the biggest online music download store and purchase your album. With iTunes you can enhance the package with visuals and text, like the booklet in a physical album, giving your fans access to lyrics, recording photos, album artworks or anything you want to accompany your music.

We can do this for you when we upload your music. However we cannot attach booklets to already approved releases so you need to get in touch with us once you’ve uploaded your release for moderation so that we can get it ready to go for iTunes with your release.

Send your booklet as a PDF with the UPC code given to your release to support@routenote.com and we’ll implement the booklet to go with your iTunes release.

Your booklet must be provided in a PDF file, and must follow these specifications:

  • PDF format with ‘.pdf’ extension
  • Four-pages minimum
  • All fonts embedded
  • 72 dpi minimum
  • 11 inches x 8.264 inches (28 centimetres x 21 centimetres)
  • RGB colour
  • Horizontal presentation
  • All images full-bleed

You want your booklet to look it’s best so open it up once you’ve saved it to make sure it looks how you want it to. Then when you’re ready and your release is pending moderation in RouteNote, send us over an email at support@routenote with the PDF file and we’ll get your music and booklet online!

At RouteNote it’s our mission to get your music out into the world on all of the top music streaming services and download stores. We want everyone to have the chance to release their music worldwide, so we’ve made it 100% FREE to upload your music through us.
