India’s favourite local music streaming service is getting a cool personalised featured that will keep your devices loaded with music you love.

Indian streaming service Gaana is India’s top music app. They have unveiled a new feature to keep users in touch with the tracks that mean the most: Smart Downloads.

This personalised tool will automatically download songs that listeners love direct to their device. Gaana users will never get caught short when they want to bust out their favourite jams.

The feature works automatically so that users can listen to the tracks they love on their device when they have no connection. The downloads aren’t just smart in telling what songs listeners like best. They also make sure that they only download music if there is sufficient space on the device.

Gaana CEO, Prashan Agarwal said: “We are excited to be the first music streaming app in India to launch ‘Smart Downloads’. Our premium users can now access their favourite songs even when they are offline – whether during their outdoor adventures or flight travel. We have been testing this in phases since March, and it has garnered an incredible response. We will continue to improve this feature over time so we are able to deliver the most personalised music streaming experience in the country.”

It will be turned on as a feature automatically for Gaana Plus users, but they will have the option to turn it off from their settings. It is available now for Gaana Plus users on Android and iOS.
