Apple have announced the HomePod speaker at WWDC. Apple claims the speaker will reinvent music in homes like the iPod did for music on the go, but that seems to be a very bold claim. Apple Homepod still needs to be tested in the wild, but so far it seems like a decent competitor to Sonos with a combined Siri attached.
