Share your music with the world on your very own artist profile on streaming services such as Spotify. You’ll get your very own artist page on all services when you upload through RouteNote offering listeners a hub for your music wherever they find you.
As soon as your music is live on Spotify you can take control of your artist profile to edit it to suit you, watch the streams roll in, apply for playlists, and more. It’s quick and easy to get started and our handy video below walks you through the basics.

If you find your song on the wrong artist page on Spotify or any other platforms then you can let us know and we’ll fix it as soon as possible. Get in touch with us via this form and we’ll move your releases to the correct artist page.
If you see a release that isn’t yours on your artist page on any services then we can fix this. Simply fill out the same form as above to ensure your artist page has no releases but yours.
You will log in to Spotify for Artists through your Spotify account, so it may not use your business/artist email. If you have forgotten your Spotify password, you can reset it here.
When you’re logged in to Spotify for Artists, click the 3 dots in the top left corner. From there you can manage your teams and invite new members by adding their details.
You can change the roles of members and the level of access that all users with access to your Spotify for Artists profile have from the ‘Your team’ section.
Head to the 3 dots in the top left corner and click your name. Under ‘User settings’ you can adjust your ‘NOTIFICATIONS’ by subscribing or unsubscribing to updates.
Concerts can take up to 48 hours to show up on Spotify artist pages. If your concert isn’t showing up after 48 hours, check that you have the correct artist ID and concert information.
Artist radios are created based on the ‘Fans Also Like’ section on artist pages. If you don’t yet have a ‘Fans Also Like’ section then you won’t have an artist radio available.
It can take up to 5 business days for music to go live when it’s sent to Spotify. When distributing through RouteNote you need to allow as much time before your release date as possible so that your release can pass through moderation and be sent to Spotify.
Spotify uses a loudness normalisation technique to balance the differences between particularly loud and quiet songs. Spotify adjusts tracks to -14 dB LUFS, so you can master your tracks to match that to preserve intentional volume peaks.
When you update your release it may take a week or 2 for us to approve it before sending it to Spotify. Once you receive approval of your update it will be sent to Spotify and will take at least 2 business days to take effect.
It may take up to a couple of weeks for us to receive and take action on a takedown request. Once we’ve sent the request to Spotify it will take at least 2 business days for them to remove the release.
On your Spotify for Artists account, head to ‘Music’ and then ‘Playlists’ to see where your music has been added.
Spotify updates the stats that are available on Spotify for Artists once a day at roughly 3PM EST / 8 PM UTC. For the first 7 days of your release you will be able to track your stream count in real-time.
A stream is counted once a song has been listened to for more than 30 seconds. If a user is listening offline, their stream counts will be added the next time they’re connected to the internet.
If you want to save your Spotify data you’re able to export timeline stats from your ‘Audience’ tab and your ‘Songs’ and ‘Playlists’ tables from your ‘Music’ tab. These will be exported as .csv files.
