YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki has confirmed on stage at the Code Conference yesterday that YouTube Red (its subscription service) will be coming to as many as 100 countries.

Speaking at Recode’s Code Media conference in Huntington Beach, Calif., Wojcicki said that YouTube will be looking to expand its Red service “to many more countries”.

YouTube Red first launched in October 2015 as a $9.99 subscription for ad-free viewing and was designed as a replacement to Google Music Key.
