TalkTalk Aquire Blinkbox From Tesco for £5m

Launched in 2007, the Video on Demand service Blinkbox has been quietly building an audience since its launch.
Bought by Tesco in June 2013. After talks with Vodafone fell through, it seems they are ready to let it go once more to phone, internet and TV company TalkTalk. Reports showed the two companies were in talks last month. Agreements have been settled today to the tune of £5m.
TalkTalk were not interested in buying Blinkbox Music, which remains up for sale. Under the wing of TalkTalk it will be very interesting to see what comes of Blinkbox in good time.
