RouteNote enjoys being involved in all things music, both superb and tragic. I’ve decided to throw out a weekly video (where it can be found) of awful tunes that could arguably be cult favourite’s for a giggle.

This tragic attempt at something to do with signing is from The Hoff. Scouring YouTube and the Hoffs own site, I Couldn’t find the proper video. It Turns out the song has become “Unavailable. Embedding disabled by request”. Probably for the best. One of the best move’s Hoff ever made next to Bay-watch of course.

It’s my way of saying “thanks for making me feel bad by accusing me of being a terrorist in Hyde Park this June. I’ll show you. I’ll make your city look like a toy.”

It has only taken him a year, but Joe McElderry (2009 X Factor winner) is about to launch his debut album.  “Ambitions,” a cover of a #1 single by Norwegian band Donkeyboy, is McElderry’s lead single from debut album Wide Awake (out in the UK on October 25).

It seems like winning the X Factor, which is just a basic kareoke competition, means that for the rest of your music career you need to sing cover songs! Wow, what a prize.

Vevo CEO stated that they will offer a mix of programming, live events and archived performances.

The reports note that Vevo has no deals in place with any cable or satellite-TV companies right now, but they are collaborating with Web-enabled TV manufacturers, set-top boxes and other devices.

The service is expected to be part of Sony’s new HDTV set that will also incorporate Google TV.

“We’re partnering with the leading manufacturers, and the people that make the boxes that go around them,” said Caraeff.

There are also a lot of plans to make Vevo more user friendly and even allow users to create their own personalise Vevo TV channels, based upon their tastes, similar to web radio service Pandora.
