Steven Tyler Debut Solo Single – Clip

A 35 second clip of Aerosmith front-man Steven Tyler’s debut single “Love Lives” has been premiered in a rather unusual fashion; in the trailer for a Japanese film. The single will act as the theme song for the upcoming Japanese movie Space Battleship Yamato, reports Tokyograph.com.

The trailer has since been clipped and posted around the internet for all to see. My initial reaction to the clip was confusion – confusion at why Steven felt it necessary to release this song on his own, rather that with Aerosmith. It’s not exactly a million miles away from what might expect of an Aerosmith ballad. The band have had fairly well publicised “issues” over the past couple of years and I can’t help but feel that this could be the beginning of the end.

Anyway, that’s enough of my speculation over nothing. Enjoy the clip.
