Spotify have released a new video series guiding artists on how to get their music out there to the world and heard on Spotify.

The Game Plan is Spotify’s guide to getting the most out of Spotify as an artist on their streaming service. Including tips on how to optimise your artist profile, promoting your music, how to release your music and much more The Game Plan is the guidebook to being a successful artist on Spotify’s music streaming service.

The video series includes four categories: Getting set up, understanding your audience, promoting yourself, and understanding the industry. The series will feature interviews with a range of industry experts, Spotify staff and high profile artists including Rick Ross, Little Dragon, Vérité, and Mike Posner.

Spotify’s head of creator marketplace, Charlie Hellman said: “From successful musicians, to employees who are industry experts, the Spotify community has a wealth of music industry knowledge. We want to equip artists at all stages of their career with that powerful knowledge, and make it as accessible as possible.”
