When you’re jamming along to your favourite tunes and snapping your friends sometimes you want to share the jams there and then.

We love sharing music, any way possible and any platform in this digital music revolution. Music lovers and social butterflies can celebrate as Pandora and Snapchat have teamed up together for even more ways to jam along with your friends to your favourite tunes.

Instead of sending a screenshot of what you’re listening to you will soon be able to send the actual song on Snapchat so your friends can instantly play it and join the fun. Express yourself in new ways and give your friends something more than a selfie by sending them any of the millions of songs streamable on Pandora. You will be able to share them directly with friends, in group messages or let all you friends know what you’re grooving to and add it to your story.

Pandora said in their release statement: “Sunday scaries got you down? Share a song that’s helping you through with your closest friends. Found a song with perfect BPM on your evening run? Share it to your story – your buddies might want to add it to their workouts, too. Does a specific song take you back to that one perfect summer? Tap share, and send it out.”

Pandora will be the first music streaming launch partner for Snapchat’s new Snap Kit initiative. Snap kit gives developers the ability to integrate Snapchat features into their apps and creating opportunities to share more and more unique moments with your friends via Snapchat.

In the coming weeks, Pandora listeners will be able to share their favourite songs with any Snapchatter in the U.S.! You don’t even have to connect your Snapchat and Pandora apps. Just swipe up to listen and enjoy through Pandora. Stay tuned for more!
