SiriusXM Radio joins your journeys with new CarPlay support

SiriusXM has arrived on Apple’s CarPlay so you can choose between hundreds of radio stations to accompany your journeys.

SiriusXM’s iOS app now streams to Apple CarPlay with a new update. Apple’s CarPlay is an OS just for your car bringing music streaming, maps, calls and more to your dashboard.

SiriusXM users can now make use of it as the radio streaming service has been added to CarPlay after offering a free 2-week period. Although streaming radio in a car might seem redundant, SiriusXM offers ad-free streaming from a massive range of radios – more than likely more choice than your car’s existing radio setup.

As well as CarPlay support, SiriusXM’s iOS app got some much less interesting udpates:

  • We now support Apple CarPlay! Connect your phone in your car and tune to channels, on demand episodes, favorites, and more right from your built-in display.
  • Swipe to tune channels up and down
  • Bug fixes and performance enhancements

SiriusXM is available as a free download on the iOS App Store.
