#909day

Though the event is mostly focussed on all of Roland’s new products the day will also be a remembrance of Roland’s massively influential Roland TR-909 drum machine. As such the part of the festival dedicated to electronic music and instruments will be dedicated to the TR-909, as well as the date being : 09/09/16.

For 33 years the TR-909 has been one of the most definitive sounds in electronic music, and the beating heart of DJ culture. Join us as we celebrate 33 years of the “909” with the release of many new and inspiring electronic instruments.

It’s not an event to be missed with a massive lineup of new instruments and products from Roland’s “new generation of electronic instruments”. The festival will also feature various performances and lectures from world class artists and musicians.

‘The Future. Redefined.’ starts at 4:00UTC on September 9th, with the streamed action then moving to cities including Tokyo, Paris, New York and Los Angeles, as new Roland products are revealed in each location.
