In celebration of their 1,000,000th user, LANDR is helping Chance the Rapper’s charity, SocialWorks Chicago, kick off their Summer Music Academy.

Founded in Chicago by Chance the Rapper, SocialWorks helps kids express themselves. This year, they’re doing a Summer Music Academy. They’ll empower kids to discover themselves through music.

To celebrate reaching 1,000,000 users, LANDR is raising funds to help out. Your donation will go directly towards instruments, creations spaces and lessons for kids who need them.

The program will give kids music lessons, instruments, creation spaces, and most importantly – a chance to express themselves through music. We all know how important music is for young people.

The summer camp, sponsored by LANDR and SocialWorks, provides an outlet for recreation, socialization, and expression for Chicago youth. Kids will discover themselves through music and expression, and LANDR and SocialWorks will give them the tools they need to succeed.

Chance the Rapper said on the project:

“The pursuit of creating art is a universally honest and necessary expression of our hopes, dreams, and emotions— art is rooted in our innate sense of curiosity, none more so than from the infinite imagination of our youth.”

However, these journeys of personal expression are never just black and white, and not every voice gets heard. That’s why SocialWorks and LANDR are launching a summer program to provide students in Chicago the necessary tools to tell their stories to the world. Together, we’ll shape the musicians of tomorrow, by supporting the kids today.”

Between June 6th and June 20th, 2017, LANDR are donating $1 for every new LANDR user that masters one track. They will also donate 10% of all purchases made from LANDR.com in the same timeframe.
