As Apple move forward with their change to lightning cable audio, Shure keep up with the advancements and create an exciting new adaptor for their customers.

Apple have recently started the long-awaited move to audio via lightning cable rather than the standard 3.5mm audio jack. This new development from Apple will ensure that very limited amounts of audio are lost between the phone and your ears. With this new lightning cable audio comes advancements from the tech world in response.

One of these technological advancements came from Shure, a leading company in headphones and audio. This new product from Shure is a lightning cable with an integrated DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter).

This product is called the “Remote + Mic Lightning Accessory Cable” and is Shure’s latest iOS only product. This cable will revolutionise the sound quality of iPhone to earphone listening and used with Shure’s “earbud” earphone technology give the best audio experience to any listener.

This new integrated cable is currently selling for around 100 dollars, along with the Shure Earphones SE Series which come in around 110 dollars create a new level of sound quality accessible for iPhone.

As well as being a useful adaptor for all Shure products, it also comes with an in-line microphone for talking on the go and system controls such as play/pause and volume controls. This will mean that any Shure earphones that are not already fitted with this system will benefit from the edition of the cable as well as the owner still being able to use Shure equipment with the new iPhone.

This new product will come out in the spring, in time for the release of the iPhone 8 in Summer, and all in all will be a very handy device to have once Apple complete the change to lightning audio.
