iHeartRadio Reach New High With 80 Million Users

iHeartMedia’s digital music and live streaming radio service announced yesterday that they had reached a new milestone in registered users.

iHeartRadio’s internet radio platform have announced their latest figures which show’s a massive success for iHeartMedia’s primary business. It was only in June last year that they announced 70 million registered users and now half a year later they return with the news of 10 million more users.

This shows incredible growth as they are currently gaining users quicker than any other music streaming service and even Facebook. On top of their incredible user base numbers the iHeartRadio app has reportedly been downloaded more than a whopping 850 million times.

This great news comes after an extremely successful week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas where iHeartRadio announced seven new and exciting integrations as well as launching in Canada soon. In even more exciting news iHeartRadio announced a monumental partnership with Universal Music in which they will be bringing Virtual Reality to live shows.

iHeartRadio’s success and growth isn’t just a testament to their music service but is also just another indicator of the giant appeal in music streaming. As music streaming dominates more every year, we are only seeing more growth and 2016 looks to be the biggest year for music streaming in history.
