Full Bucket Music have a new virtual instrument based off of one of Korg’s old-school synths from the 70’s. The lovely people over there have also released it entirely for free so you can download and start playing it straight away, at no cost.

The plugin emulates the Korg PS-3100 Polyphonic Synthesizer from 1977. The creators say that it has been coded specifically to maximise performance and consume very low levels of CPU power.

The ‘FB-3100’ synth plugin features:

  • Close emulation of behaviour and all controls of the original hardware
  • Band-limited oscillators, classic two-pole lowpass filters
  • Resonators section
  • Two Modulation Generators, Sample & Hold
  • Additional paraphonic Envelope Generator
  • Semi-modular patch panel

  • MIDI Learn – all parameters can be controlled by MIDI CC
