Coca-Cola has just released a Spotify branded design for its cans. These Spotify Coca-Cola cans will only be released in the UK to start and it will direct consumers to a music discovery app.
This is all apart of a strategic partnership between Spotify and Coca-Cola. Coke will not only use Spotify as the key underlying technology to support its music strategy, but will also integrate the service into its Facebook presence and Timeline.
The Spotify affiliation appears only on 250 ml cans of Coke, Coke Zero and Diet Coke. The “slimline” can is rolling out in the UK this month.
