Mark Hill from the Artful Dodger will join RouteNote next month to discuss the opportunities that have come with the adoption of digital technology in the music industry.

Next month we will be taking part in a talk about how digital distribution is changing the opportunities for artists and musicians. The discussion will be hosted by Cultivator at the RouteNote Headquarters with input from our experienced team. Experienced musician, songwriter and producer Mark Hill will also be in attendance to offer his insights and knowledge.

Mark Hill has risen to fame as one half of the garage duo Artful Dodger and working on Craig David’s multi-platinum studio album debut, Born to Do It as co-writer and producer. Mark has received 4 Ivor Novello Awards, a number one album, 2 number one singles, and has sold over 10 million records worldwide. His experience working in the industry as it has transformed and adopted digital music since his beginning in 1997 will provide a unique insight into the topic of digital distribution.

Routenote is dedicated to delivering the best exposure for musicians and performers worldwide. Routenote currently partners with over 50 of the biggest digital platforms and they’ll be sharing their experiences and discussing some examples of the ways in which successful creatives are successfully exploiting the opportunities offered by digital services to increase their reach and develop new audiences globally.

The talk will take place at the RouteNote headquarters in Kernow House, Truro on the 6th February from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, learn from the speakers’ experiences and share their own thoughts and ideas.
