AOL Fires All AOL Music Staff and Closing Down All Properties with Immediate Effect

AOL has just closed and fired everyone within their AOL Music sector. This includes the closure of AOL Music and Spinner.

Spinner editor Dan Reilly confirmed the news via Twitter.

“Well, we all just got laid off. AOL Music is finished”, tweeted Reilly on Friday afternoon.

And later: “Sitting in an HR meeting right now, trying to negotiate keeping our computers for a few more days.”
