About RouteNote
RouteNote is an online music distribution service providing artists instant access to a large proportion of the online market. Designed and built to take advantage of the shift towards independent and self-publication through online and mobile music outlets, and the consumer switch to online purchasing as outlined by the success of iTunes, Myspace and Pump Audio, RouteNote is partnered with some of the biggest retailers on the web to give artists massive and immediate availability for their tracks.
Onsite, artists can upload tracks to the RouteNote catalogue and enter into a non exclusive agreement permitting us to distribute their music to a worldwide audience in a matter of moments. They then select partnered retail outlets that they wish their music to be available through (e.g. iTunes, Amazon Mp3, eMusic, Spotify and more.) and within moments their songs are earning money as part of a world wide, web wide, distribution network. Our rates for providing a distribution service are currently the best in the market, and our ever expanding catalogue gives us increasing muscle with which to negotiate deals from which everyone, artists, clients and distribution partners included will all benefit. For ongoing information about RouteNote, please read our
company blog. Also, feel free to
contact us with service questions, partnership proposals, or press inquiries.

Steven's the man with the plan, or at least we hope so. He tries to keep everything running smoothly at RouteNote but confeses that it's easier said than done. Steven's main focus is business development and general whip cracker but helps out with the day to day and blog development in his spare time.

Simon joined RouteNote when demand for the service became too high for current staff to handle. After a time of floating between tasks he now controls content delivery and blog development. Simon is a keen drummer with a good background in live performance and an understanding of the typical mindset for independent bands.

John is the newest addition to the RouteNote team. It can be hard to pin point the exact nature of what John does as his role within Routenote can drasticly change from day to day and sometimes from moment to moment. In fact, sometimes we can't tell if he's doing anything at all. He certainly looks busy most of the time. When confronted about this, we're told that his focus is currently on content delivery. When not working, John, also with a songwritting background, can be found composing soundtracks for an indie gaming company or talking to the fish.
